It’s pizza night! A phrase every American loves to hear. This January 13th marks the beginning of National Pizza Week here in Savannah, GA and the whole country, a holiday we can all get behind. While we may not need a specific day to celebrate the deliciousness of this perfect combination of ingredients, we could all use one more excuse to eat pizza. If you don’t feel like ordering out this year, try making one of these unique recipes in your Timberland apartment. Nothing beats a good homemade slice.
The combination of salty bacon and the tart cherries on this pizza is a work of genius! The flavors complement each other surprisingly well. Ingredients include grated garlic cloves, whole milk ricotta, salt, black pepper, crumbled parmesan, flour, pizza dough, thick cut bacon, swiss chard or Tuscan kale, pickled jalapenos, fresh sour cherries, and grated mozzarella cheese.
This pizza features a chewy, soft pretzel crust that you won’t soon forget. In fact, you may never go back to regular crust pizza after trying this pizza. Make it with: warm water, active dry yeast, honey, flour, salt, baking soda, melted butter, coarse sea salt, pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and pepperoni slices, or other desired toppings.
This cheesy, vegetable-packed pizza is made in the skillet and super flavorful. To make it you will need: bell peppers, broccoli florets, red onion, cherry tomatoes, extra-virgin olive oil, salt, ground black pepper, flour, pizza dough, ricotta cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
